Welcome to Biblical Marriages
Greetings, and welcome to the website for @biblemarriages. If you've been on X, Instagram, or Facebook, or YouTube -- you've probably seen some of my posts. I've built this website to start consolidating all of what I've learned and shared across multiple platforms into one place. My goal is to make this website a central repository for information about biblical marriage, which includes the controversial topic of polygamy, or polygyny which is the proper term of what kind of plural marriage we see practiced in the scriptures. The topics discussed on this website are hard to accept and understand for most, but if you approach it with open ears, and open eyes, and let the LORD walk you through testing everything, you will not regret it!
Purpose
My mission is to:
- Share what the scriptures say about marriage and family structure, specifically patriarchal headship as a biblical model
- Explore the objections and answer them with scripture
- Provide resources for men and women who are seeking to live in obedience to God's commandments
- Focus on building families and fellowships according to biblical principles and restoring patriarchal order to the body of Christ
