What you will find here
Our aim is to help people study God's word carefully and build faithful households. We teach male headship under Christ, with the duties of love and care that Scripture places on husbands and fathers.
We also hold that Scripture permits polygyny: one man married to more than one woman. That conviction differs from the teaching of many Christian traditions, and much of this library explains why we hold it. Reading here does not require agreement with every conclusion.

A few useful words
As you read
- Headship
- The husband’s responsibility to lead his household under Christ. We understand that responsibility to include self-giving love, provision, honor, and accountability to God.
- Polygyny
- A form of plural marriage in which one man has more than one wife. It is the specific marriage structure examined in many of the studies here.
- Covenant
- A binding commitment with real obligations. In our teaching, marriage is a covenant to be honored through faithfulness and care.
- Torah
- The first five books of the Bible. Our studies often use this Hebrew term when discussing the law and the foundations of biblical household life.
- YHWH / YHVH / Yah / Yeshua
- YHWH and YHVH are renderings of the divine name often represented as LORD in English Bibles; Yah is a shortened form. Yeshua is the Hebrew name commonly rendered Jesus in English.
